Commission Terms Of Service
This Terms of Service agreement is to be automatically in place between artist and client upon the purchase of a commission. References to the artist are to be indicated in first-person (Me, Myself and I) whilst client is in reference to the customer of the commission.Clients must thoroughly acknowledge and accept these Terms Of Service before a transaction is made with the artist.
Prepatory
★ I will ask for 50% of the payment upfront and the amount will depend on the commission type. This is due to my time and effort that is put into my sketching process, as it usually takes the longest to complete and many major changes are made during this time to ensure the client's satisfaction.★ The client must provide a clear reference of the character whilst stating the intentions of the commission.★ I have the right to refuse a commission, or any requests about the commission for any reason, specified or not.★ I aim to be swift with all of my commission work. If I appear unresponsive within 2 days of initial approach, feel free to get in contact with me again. This being said, please do not rush me.★ Depending on the type of commission, progress updates will be provided upon completion of sketches, line art and flat colouring. Please ensure you take these as your chances to ask for any minor or major changes you wish to ask for. Failing to do so and asking for major changes after completion will be penalised with extra charges.★ Exchanges between me and the client are preferred to be made across Twitter, Discord or Instagram. Process
★ I will request the last 50% of the payment due when the sketch has been completed and approved by the client. No further progress will be made until this payment has been received. [Payment methods pending]★ I refuse to create art that is intended to be hateful, violence of any degree or those that depict graphic imagery or nudity, no exceptions.★ I refuse to create art containing NSFW of any kind, including fetish art, no exceptions.★ My deadlines vary depending on the time of year as I am in education full time. Commissions can take approximately 4 days to one month, taking into account the complexity and type of commission the client desires.★ I can not guarantee any deadlines as life events could pop up spontaneously. If I feel the need to extend a deadline myself and the client have agreed upon, I will do so within a reasonable time for both myself and the client.★ Any aggression or rude behaviour from the client will not be tolerated. Those who breach this will be refused their commission, any ongoing work will be ceased and the client is denied any further work with myself.
Usage Policies
★ My commissions are intended to be for personal use only.★ Do not credit my work as anyone elses but my own.★ I reserve the right to use any completed commissions for marketing and advertisement.★ When reposting, please ensure credit is given to me, preferably through my Twitter handle, a link to my Carrd page or is under the username Lani-Lei.★ My watermark will be placed visibly on the artwork during advertising to prevent theft. I will send an unwatermarked version of the commission to the client upon completion.★ The client is paying for digital goods only. I have no intentions in creating any prints nor physical alterations of a commission in any way.
Refunds
★ A refund can be requested on behalf of the client if I have not yet progressed onto the line art stage of the commission. If commissions have progressed into the stages past this point, refunds will not be accepted.
